How is ClippingMini different from normal browser bookmarks?

Browser bookmarks store links in folders. ClippingMini also previews documents, video, and audio in the app, checks unsafe URLs, searches full text, imports browser exports or a sitemap, exports Excel or Markdown, and can publish a folder as a public page. AI adds tags, categories, and summaries.

Can ClippingMini handle thousands of saved links?

Saved items and folders are unlimited on both plans. AI auto-categorization covers 300 items on Free and 2,000 items on Professional. Search covers titles, descriptions, and URLs, including search inside a folder.

Is ClippingMini free?

Yes. The Free plan is $0 per month and includes unlimited items and folders, 10MB uploads, 7-day trash, AI auto-categorization for 300 items, public folder sharing, Excel export, and in-browser document, video, and audio preview. Professional is $5 per month or $30 per year (50% off, $2.50 per month billed annually) and adds 100MB uploads, 60-day trash, AI auto-categorization for 2,000 items, advanced public folder options, shared folder analytics, and Markdown export.

Can I use ClippingMini together with AI tools like ChatGPT?

Yes. Connect ClippingMini in ChatGPT from Settings, Plugins, then sign in with your ClippingMini account. ChatGPT can add_clip, search_clips, list_clips, and list_folders. Saved items stay in the same library as the web app. The guide is at https://www.clippingmini.com/feature-extension.

How does ClippingMini help in the new GEO (GPT Engine Optimization) era?

ClippingMini stores titles, summaries, tags, and categories with each link, and can export Markdown for tools such as Claude. Connected to ChatGPT, the same library can be searched and extended from chat instead of remaining a list of raw URLs.

What can I preview without leaving ClippingMini?

Documents: HWP (converted to PDF), DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, PDF, and EPUB. Video: YouTube, MP4, WebM, and OGV. Audio: MP3, AAC, and WAV. Images open in the built-in viewer.

Can I import and export my bookmarks?

Yes. Import HTML bookmark exports from Chrome, Safari, Edge, and Firefox, skip duplicates, or crawl a site from its sitemap. Export selected items to Excel (.xlsx). Professional also exports Markdown (.md). You can bulk-download selected files.

Can I publish a folder?

Yes. A folder can be published as a public page with a custom title, description, and background, search-engine indexing controls, call-to-action buttons, and optional custom scripts such as analytics. Professional adds shared-folder analytics and advanced public-folder options. Published folders can be embedded on another website, and can use a password, hidden access, or location limits.

Does ClippingMini check unsafe links?

Yes. URLs are checked for malware and phishing as you save them, using Google Safe Browsing.

Connection troubleshooting

How do I connect a different ClippingMini account?

Disconnect or Uninstall ClippingMini in ChatGPT Settings → Plugins (or Apps).
In the browser you used to sign in, open this link: Clear saved login
Connect ClippingMini again in ChatGPT and sign in with the account you want.

This link alone does not disconnect an existing plugin connection or automatically open a sign-in window. To switch accounts, disconnect first and then reconnect.
